China Fire and Rescue College, as an important part of the national comprehensive fire and rescue team, is the first undergraduate college specialized in fire and rescue in China, an institution of higher learning directly under the Emergency Management Department, a training base for the main force of emergency rescue, and a cradle for the growth of Chinese loyal souls.
As of July, 2022, the college has 16 internal institutions and 17 affiliated units, with 7,000 full-time students and 6 undergraduate majors. By the end of 20021,10, the college headquarters consists of two parts: the north campus and the south campus, covering an area of about 965 mu. In addition, there is a Xifeng emergency training base covering an area of 160 mu.
The college was formerly the teaching team of Heilongjiang Forest Police Corps, which was established in September. 1978. In May 2000, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang and Jilin Forest Police Schools merged to form the Armed Police Forest Command School. Moved to Beijing to run a school in June 2003. Undergraduate education began in July 2004. In September 2006, the Armed Police Gold Technical School, the Armed Police Forest Command School and the Armed Police Hydropower Technical School merged to form the Armed Police Command College.
In August, 20 1 1 was renamed Armed Police College. On September 30th, 20 18, the college was transferred to the Emergency Management Department as a whole. 1October 9th 165438+ was awarded the flag of "China Fire Rescue Team", and on February 29th16th, it was renamed as China Fire Rescue College.
Facing the future, with the theme of promoting high-quality development, the college will actively build a new pattern of "one body and two wings" education with undergraduate education as the main body and coordinated development of postgraduate education and continuing education, and accelerate the construction into a fire rescue institution of higher learning with distinctive characteristics and high quality that matches the status of emergency management system in big countries.
