Anhui Institute of Information Engineering is a non-profit private application-oriented university approved by the Ministry of Education and the Anhui Provincial People's Government, sponsored by Iflytek Co., Ltd., a high-tech enterprise, and headed by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education. The school is located in Wuhu, the sub-central city of Anhui Province. The school has Jinwen Campus and Orfila Campus, with a total area of about 1400 mu, more than 500 faculty members and more than 9,000 full-time undergraduates. The school has seven colleges and four centers, including School of Computer and Software Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Management Engineering, College of Art and Design, College of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, College of General Education and Foreign Languages, College Students' Comprehensive Quality and Ability Training Center, College Students' Creativity and Innovation Center, College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and College Students' Entrepreneurship and Employment Competitiveness Promotion Center. The total value of existing teaching and research instruments and equipment in the school is nearly 60 million yuan. The library has a building area of 23,000 square meters, more than 800,000 paper books, 2.56 million e-books, Chinese and foreign electronic periodicals 1 12000, database systems such as HowNet and Wanfang, modern e-book system and computer network service system.
There are 7 teaching experiment centers in the school, including 72 laboratories, 43 teaching rooms and 1 13 multimedia classrooms, covering all majors in the school. At the same time, it has four provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, the largest experiential outward bound training base in East China universities, and more than 70 off-campus teaching practice bases.
