How to help parents of ordinary children agree with integrated education
Definition of fusion:

1. Integration refers to a way to let most disabled children enter ordinary classes and improve their learning in ordinary classes.

2. Full integration means that special children can be integrated into ordinary classes full-time, regardless of category and severity.

3. Integration hopes to merge the general education system and the special education system, establish a unified and unique system to manage educational resources, and hope to integrate students from different classes.

Advantages of integration:

1. Reduce fees for special students.

2. It represents a positive change in the education system.

3. Establish new social relations with peers.

4. Let everyone take the initiative to care, which is conducive to the study and socialization of ordinary and special students.

5. Have access to more talented teachers.

6. You can receive high quality general education.

Reasons for integration:

1. Special education lacks strict curriculum.

2. Special education lacks high-quality personalized teaching.

3. The teaching of mild disability is confused with ordinary class teaching.

4. Teaching decision-making lacks reference points and is too subjective.

5. The training of special education teachers is not enough to meet the needs of students.

Elements of integration:

1. Teacher cooperation plan and teaching in ordinary and special classes.

2. Peer cooperative learning.

3. Effective teaching.

4. Attitude is conducive to interaction.

5. Adequate resources and support system.

6. Policy.

Elements of integration:

1. Courses and teaching must meet the needs of all students.

2. The concept of integration must guide teaching and the whole school must accept the concept of integration.

3. Integration is not only about placement, but also the needs of each student.

4. Continuous on-the-job training.

5. Before setting up the integration class, we should consider whether there are enough resources and support systems to provide the services that students need.

6. Integration is only an option. In addition to integration, there should be other placement options, such as special classes.

7. The adjustment of ordinary classes must be reasonable and in line with economic benefits.

8. Teachers should participate voluntarily, not under compulsion.

The establishment and development of the integration model should start from the school, not from the higher authorities to set the principles to be followed.

Promote effective integration mode:

Since the implementation of integrated education, both at home and abroad, those who are in favor have gone forward bravely, while those who are against have no intention to participate. Although the trend of integration has attracted a lot of opposition, from the perspective of integrated education concept, if all students have the right to receive education in the least restrictive environment and special children are members of the class, students should replace the ordinary and special dual education system with a single education system. The interactive influence of parents, teachers and students can make the integrated model more successful than the separated model. If we adhere to this concept, the integration model is indeed the direction worthy of training in the future education development process. However, the realization of integrated education really needs comprehensive consideration and perfect supporting measures in order to truly benefit all children in the implementation process.

Recently, foreign literature has put forward four feasible modes of implementing integrated education. This paper will introduce these four modes in detail and compare them with the phenomenon in Taiwan Province, as a reference for the implementation of integrated education in the future:

Ordinary teachers and special education teachers often have two problems in their minds:

1. What can be done to make children's learning achieve the best results?

2. Where is the hope of college teaching?

In fact, the purpose of integrated education is not to benefit teachers, but to truly meet the long-term needs of students. Because of this, isolated procedures are beneficial to teachers' teaching, but not necessarily to students' learning and development. In other words, to truly implement integrated education, we must have two elements:

1. Must meet the special needs of students.

2. Establish common beliefs among members.

Integrated education is based on the following six principles:

1. Zero rejection.

2. Get an education in the school near your home.

3. Arrange the special students in regular classes according to the natural proportion.

4. receive education in classes of similar age.

5. Teachers of general education and special education work together.

6. The basis of educational service is to understand students' ability advantages and teach according to their advantages.
