What is the Ministry of Continuing Education in Peking University?
Peking University Continuing Education Office (Peking University for short) is responsible for coordinating, organizing and managing adult and continuing education in Peking University. On behalf of the school to co-ordinate arrangements and management of continuing education, and on behalf of the school to negotiate or sign an agreement with off-campus units to start continuing education, and apply for a school license from social forces in Peking University. The scope of management, in terms of categories, includes adult academic education and non-academic education in the whole school; From the level, it includes adult junior college, adult higher education and adult higher education; Formally, it includes adult full-time classes, correspondence courses, evening classes and modern distance education. Non-academic education includes all kinds of training courses, seminars, continuing education for college teachers, visiting scholars, unconventional postgraduate education, various exam counseling, overseas training programs, etc. The Ministry of Continuing Education has four functional offices: comprehensive management office, academic education office, non-academic education office and teaching management and research office. It is affiliated to the Adult Education College, the Online Education College and the Training Center.
