Shanghai University of Finance and Economics launched general education on 20 14, offering seven modules of general education courses: language and cross-cultural communication, classic reading and historical and cultural heritage, philosophical speculation and ethical norms, artistic accomplishment and sports health, economic analysis and mathematical thinking, scientific and technological progress and scientific spirit, social analysis and civic literacy.
The school will broaden the enrollment caliber, in principle, recruit students according to departments, and will gradually transition to recruit students according to disciplines in the future. In addition, the enrollment ratio of grade 20 14 will be greatly increased, and there will be opportunities to change majors in the first, second and fourth semesters.
