Brief introduction of Zhejiang International Studies University:
Zhejiang International Studies University, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is the only public full-time foreign language school in Zhejiang Province, which is organized by the people's government of Zhejiang Province, based on foreign languages and literature and develops in a coordinated way.
Zhejiang international studies university, formerly known as Zhejiang (Middle School) Teacher Training School, was established in 1955. In July, 1956, it was transformed into Zhejiang Normal University; 1958, renamed Zhejiang Institute of Culture and Education; 1960 changed its name to Zhejiang Institute of Education in March; On April 20 10, it was upgraded and renamed as Zhejiang International Studies University.
By June 2022 10, the school will cover a total area of 555.5 mu, with a building area of172,000 square meters. The existing 13 teaching institutions offer 35 undergraduate majors and 2 specialist majors, including foreign language majors 15 and 4 higher vocational colleges. There are more than 800 faculty members and 9000 students.

By the end of 2022 10, there were more than 800 faculty members, including 4 1.4% full-time teachers, 57.2% teachers with doctoral degrees, 52.08% teachers with overseas study experience of half a year or more, and more than 84.5% foreign language teachers with overseas study experience.

There are 6 young social science scholars in Heilongjiang province, 13 leading talents training programs in provincial universities, 5 members (including 1 vice-chairmen) of the college teaching steering committee of the Ministry of Education, and 15 members (including 2 chairmen and 2 vice-chairmen) of the undergraduate teaching steering committee of Zhejiang universities. In addition, the school has long hired 100 many well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad as part-time professors.
