Interference is a process of frequent forgetting. However, in view of this phenomenon, there are also remedial measures, that is, don't study similar content monotonously for too long. When reciting the English vocabulary list, you can have a rest after reciting some words, then learn some others, and then go back to recite words. In addition, the more meaningless what you want to learn, the more obvious the interference. So we must constantly try to find meaning through association.
