Conditions for applying for HKU graduate students
The requirements for applying for HKU graduate students are as follows:

If the teaching language of the applicant's undergraduate course is not English, the following minimum English proficiency requirements shall be met:

1. IELTS 6.0 or above (not less than 5.5 for each item)

2. TOEFL score above 80.

3. Other equivalent education: such as C or above in Cambridge English Proficiency Test, CET-6 /450 or above.

4.GPA: the GPA of research graduate students should reach 85, the GPA of teaching graduate students should reach 80, and HKU should reach 85. Transcripts should be in Chinese and English.
