Overview of Guangxi University of Finance and Economics Guangxi University of Finance and Economics is the only independent undergraduate course University of Finance and Economics in Guangxi, which focuses on economic management, and the economy, management, literature, law, science, industry and art develop in harmony. The school is located in Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi, where the China-ASEAN Expo will be held permanently. Its predecessor can be traced back to Guangxi Business School founded by 1960 and Guangxi Finance and Economics School founded by 1963. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Guangxi University of Finance and Guangxi Business School merged to form Guangxi University of Finance and Economics.
