In addition to publicizing the policies of the Party and government, family planning, agricultural technology and other matters to the villagers, the annual meeting of villagers' representatives and the reception place of higher authorities are also here, which is the central point of administrative liaison in Maodian Village.
Maojiadian School, located in Xia Jie, Maodian Village, on the pillar of the school gate, is the best summary of the school's spirit of "hating educating people and studying hard". Its predecessor was No.4 Middle School of Tongwei County, which was founded in 1924 with a four-year schooling. 1950 changed to a six-year primary school; Junior high school was established 1969, and the school became a seven-year system; 1979 changed to 8-year system; In 2006, it was changed to a nine-year junior high school.
