How to do a good job in student work from the perspective of internationalization
First, the concept and characteristics of internationalization of higher education

The so-called internationalization of higher education means opening wider to the outside world, strengthening international academic exchanges, sending and receiving more students, and carrying out cooperative research and running schools jointly. The connotation of internationalization of higher education is very rich. Although there is no unified definition so far, scholars have discussed it from different angles. Generally speaking, the internationalization of higher education should be a process of mutual exchange and cooperation in educational concepts, educational subjects, educational contents and teachers with the goal of cultivating high-quality talents under the background of economic globalization.

Since China's entry into WTO, the internationalization of higher education in China has developed to some extent, and at the same time it has its own characteristics.

1. Internationalization of educational ideas

The internationalization of educational ideas should first attach importance to the internationalization of education in thought. From a global perspective, we should fully and deeply understand what is the internationalization of higher education, get out of the misunderstanding of ideas, study the advanced educational concepts at home and abroad, and establish a correct awareness of internationalization. Nowadays, many countries in the world have put forward international educational ideas. For example, American higher education clearly puts forward the goals of "cultivating people with global awareness" and "people with international vision". Comrade Deng Xiaoping wrote an inscription for Jingshan School in June 1 983 65438+1October1:"Education should face modernization, the world and the future". In recent years, the development focus of universities in China has gradually turned to the world, facing the future. Peking University launched the "Plan to Build a World-class University" in due course, and Tsinghua University defined the "Three Nine-year and Three-step Overall Development Strategy" to build a world-class university. The national implementation of the "985" project indicates that the internationalization of higher education has been put on the strategic development agenda of China University in the 2nd/Kloc-0th century. At the same time, many key universities in China have also established the development goals of establishing "world-class" or "world-famous" universities.

2. Internationalization of educational content

The internationalization of educational content means starting from the goal of internationalization, transcending the boundaries between countries and nations, and cultivating students from the perspective of globalization. Through the internationalization of course content, courses related to other countries can be offered. Conditional colleges can introduce foreign original textbooks on the basis of existing textbooks, receive the most cutting-edge academic achievements, absorb foreign advanced teaching and cultural knowledge and scientific and technological achievements, and keep up with the pace of international development. China has signed agreements with more and more countries on mutual recognition of academic qualifications and credits, which indicates that the quality of education in China has been internationally recognized, and the teaching content and level in China are in line with international standards. The internationalization of teaching content cannot be achieved overnight. We should aim at the world and introduce international high-quality educational resources. It can be seen from the adjustment of departments, renaming of majors, bilingual teaching, and the use of original or translated textbooks in domestic universities. Domestic universities are gradually in line with international standards in specialty setting, curriculum construction and curriculum content.

3. Internationalization of educational disciplines

The internationalization of educational subjects is not only reflected in the number of foreign experts and foreign teachers employed by universities in China, but also in the number of teachers sent by universities in China, and more importantly, in the number of international students who are college students in China. I am not used to treating students as the object of education, because: in the traditional sense, teachers are the role of teaching and educating people, while students are only the one-way learning role taught by teachers; Long-term educational practice shows that the relationship between teachers and students is no longer just a one-way relationship between teaching and learning, but both sides are in a state of integration of teaching and learning, especially with the development and popularization of high technology, the phenomenon of reverse (learning) socialization between teachers and students is prominent. Therefore, the author believes that when talking about the internationalization of educational subjects, students should not be regarded as objects (there is no pure object in today's special interactive learning organizations), but should be regarded as a subsystem of the educational subject system. Perhaps in some respects, such "integration" is far-fetched, but there are still reasons for its development. Secondly, the internationalization of higher education challenges the ideological and political education of college students.

The internationalization of higher education means not only quantitative expansion, but also qualitative leap, which means new educational ideas and school-running models.

The birth of type and management mode. The internationalization of higher education not only has a great impact on the teaching, management and logistics services of colleges and universities, but also makes the ideological and political education of college students face new challenges. The following factors challenge the ideological and political education of college students:

1. The enrollment scale of colleges and universities has expanded rapidly.

Enrollment expansion is the logical starting point and the necessary stage of internationalization of higher education. With the internationalization of higher education, the structure of college students has changed. Under the stage of elite education, after strict college entrance examination selection, the students obtained by colleges and universities are basically a group of "top students" in high schools, that is, "good students" in our eyes. Their basic characteristics are good academic performance, good IQ and EQ, and they are all "obedient". Generally speaking, it is not too complicated to do ideological and political work for such students. As we all know, China's higher education is divided in the era of elite education. With the arrival of the era of internationalization of higher education and the sharp increase in the number of college students, this difference has undergone a qualitative change. In the case that the demand of software and hardware and social occupation has not increased at a corresponding speed, it undoubtedly increases the difficulty of ideological and political education.

2. Socialization of logistics

The socialization of logistics in colleges and universities is the product of the development of higher education to a certain stage, and it is the accelerator for the transformation of colleges and universities from elite to popularization. The quality of logistics work in colleges and universities is directly related to the life and study of college students, and also directly affects their sense of identity and belonging to colleges and universities. Since the socialization of logistics in colleges and universities has been fully promoted, colleges and universities have actively set up logistics service enterprises, implemented enterprise management and socialized operation, created various ways such as "trusteeship", "joint operation" and "social participation", widely introduced social funds, and injected new vitality into the socialization of colleges and universities. It obviously improves the accommodation and living conditions of universities, but it also has a far-reaching impact on students' study, life and thoughts, thus making the moral education in university life parks face a new situation. In particular, apartments and meals with more varieties and grades are graded according to fees, which makes the disparity between the rich and the poor more prominent and has a noticeable impact on the mental health of schools.

3. Changes in teacher-student relationship

The alienation of teacher-student relationship is one of the problems brought by the internationalization of higher education. In the stage of international education, there is bound to be a shortage of teachers and an over-filled curriculum in colleges and universities. On the one hand, there are few opportunities for teachers and students to meet. In some classes in colleges and universities, teaching and learning seem to be two lines. The teacher arrived on time and left in a hurry after class. It is difficult for some students to catch up with the teacher to discuss problems. Quite a few students don't know the teacher's name after class. On the other hand, there are few opportunities for students to participate. Because the growth rate of teachers can't keep up with the growth of demand, many college teachers teach across colleges and universities, and the working environment is diversified, which will inevitably lead to the weakening of college students' feelings for teachers and the lack of software and hardware for ideological and political education in colleges and universities.

4. It is more difficult to get a job.

Higher education is a kind of non-compulsory education, and it should be an activity with high return rate for the educated. However, in real life, the rate of return of higher education has decreased, and employment has become a big headache for the educated. At present, the employment difficulty of college graduates is a realistic problem that hinders the internationalization of higher education, and it is also an important reason for being skeptical about popularization. Facing the grim reality, college students' concept of job choice should change with the changes of the times and situation. However, due to the influence of the old education concept and the concept of choosing a job, many college students' employment consciousness still stays in the stage of elite education, taking employment as the sole purpose of receiving higher education, and the change of employment concept has not yet been realized. This utilitarian and pragmatic employment mentality has brought a negative impact on the development of higher education and added new difficulties to students' ideological and political education.

Thirdly, how to strengthen and improve the ideological and political work in colleges and universities under the background of internationalization of higher education.

Under the background of internationalization of higher education, the ideological and political work of college students is facing all kinds of new problems and challenges, and it is urgent to strengthen and improve the ideological and political education of college students. Then, we can strengthen ideological and political education in colleges and universities from the following aspects.

First, the idea of "people-oriented" ideological and political education should be constructed to meet the needs of college students' growth and development and spiritual needs at different levels, and the functions of self-education, self-management and self-service should be brought into play to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students.

Second, strengthen the construction of the management mechanism of ideological and political education for college students, standardize people, educate people, manage people and serve people with strong mechanisms, and truly realize the mechanism of educating people.

Third, give full play to the guiding, edifying, radiating, infiltrating and integrating functions of campus culture, promote the healthy development of students' body and mind, and let students grow, become talents and succeed in a harmonious and balanced atmosphere.

Fourth, strengthen the construction and management of campus network, give full play to the function of campus network across time and space, strengthen the rapidity, equality and interaction of ideological and political education, and do a good job in network education.

Fifth, attach importance to mental health education, extensively carry out psychological counseling and treatment, organically integrate the functions of psychological counseling and ideological and political education, constantly expand working ideas, study possible new situations and problems, and solve various problems and contradictions in the reform of higher education.
