At present, education in Colombia is divided into three levels: primary education, secondary education and higher education. The general academic system is: 5 years in primary school, 4 years in junior high school, 2 years in senior high school and vocational high school; In higher education, 2-3 years is junior college and technical school, 4-5 years is undergraduate course, and 2-3 years is postgraduate training. Secondly, the financial situation of students' families is proved by the region where the students live, and eligible students can submit applications. Students who get education vouchers can choose between free public schools and private schools participating in the project. If the tuition fee is higher than the face value of the education voucher, students will pay the difference themselves. On the contrary, if the tuition fee is lower than the face value of the education voucher, the excess will be returned to the government.
