Reflections on reading Tao Xingzhi's educational masterpieces
I still remember knowing Mr. Tao Xingzhi from books when I was studying in Xuzhou Normal University. His famous saying, "Come with a heart, go without a blade of grass", was hung in the corridor by the school. Now reading Tao Xingzhi's educational masterpiece, combined with my own teaching practice, is different from my school days.

Tao Xingzhi's famous educational works collect the essence of his lifelong teaching research and practice, and embody his unique educational thoughts of "life is education" and "integration of knowledge and practice" from the aspects of "teaching integration" and "student autonomy".

First, the teacher's morality training materials

From Mr. Tao's works, we can see his ardent expectation for a good teacher. "Thousands of teachers teach people to seek truth, and thousands of students learn to be human", "If you come with a heart, you will go without grass". He put forward four questions about teachers' self-growth, which are called "four questions every day". Morality is the foundation of being a man. "If you are bad at all, even if you have some knowledge and skills, it is useless." Four Questions a Day provides a reference for people to study in Germany. As a mirror, we can always see that everyone has made great progress in health, knowledge, work efficiency and moral character, showing natural progress.

As a young teacher, I "want to teach people to seek truth, first of all, we must teach ourselves to seek truth, to teach ourselves the knowledge of seeking truth, to teach ourselves the true skills, and to teach ourselves the true morality." As the saying goes, "It's never too old to learn." The society is changing with each passing day, and there are always changes around us. A person with a strong sense of mission should have a sense of crisis. How can we keep pace with the times and not be eliminated by society? There is only one answer, and that is enterprising and studying hard. "Learning, learning, learning, learning what people don't know and who won't ... We should learn from everyone, teachers, the public, children, friends, nature and sociology with an open mind."

Second, life education.

"Life is education" is the core of Tao Xingzhi's life education theory. What is "life education"? Tao Xingzhi pointed out: "Life education is the original, independent and necessary education of life. The fundamental meaning of education is to change life. Life is always like this, that is, life always contains the meaning of education. " Since life education has existed in human society, life is education, and the so-called "education is what you live"; Living well means receiving a good education, and living badly means receiving a bad education. "He also pointed out that" life education is innate and walks with life. Born to break; Graduation is only when you go to the coffin. "Life education emphasizes that education should be life-centered, opposes traditional education being book-centered, and thinks that education that is not life-centered is death education. Life education is produced on the basis of criticizing that traditional education is divorced from the reality of life, and it is the opposite of pure knowledge education.

Third, teach "students to learn"

"Integration of teaching and doing" means that a good teacher does not teach or teach students, but teaches students to learn. In the book, he made a vivid analogy: to swim in the water, you must learn to swim in the water. If you don't get into the water, you can read swimming books and do swimming on the shore. Even if you study all your life, you will sink when you enter the water. The same is true of students' study. Optics will learn from books, but it doesn't know how to practice. What's the use even if they memorize the contents of the book? Therefore, teachers should not only teach students the knowledge in books, but also teach students how to learn and how to use it.

On the one hand, teachers should be responsible for guidance, on the other hand, students should be responsible for learning. For a problem, it is not necessary for teachers to teach students all the ready-made solutions, but to organize and guide students how to find this solution, so that students can find this method by themselves through similar experience in the shortest time, and can use this experience to find other methods and solve other problems. With this experience, students can explore knowledge by themselves and become active learners. Teachers should keep learning in order to discover new ideas from time to time. Only when they enjoy it can they tirelessly teach others.

"Teaching is one thing, not three things. We should teach while doing, and go to school while doing. Doing middle school is real teaching; Students learn by doing, which is practical learning. If you don't work hard, you can't teach and you can't learn. " How well Mr. Tao speaks. Nowadays, students' life circle is relatively narrow, but now is the era of information explosion. Their ability to accept information is very strong, and their extracurricular knowledge is very rich. Because of my young age, I can't apply what I have learned to practical activities, which requires teachers to teach while doing, and urge students to do hands-on operations and practical activities in middle schools. It is by doing this that they can improve their enthusiasm and initiative in teaching and learning.

If you choose education, you choose dedication. Some people compare teachers to gardeners. "The gardener's dream is often a flower fragrance, a leaf shadow, a teacher's dream, a sweet smiling face and the sound of a book." "Real education is an activity from soul to soul. Only from the heart can we reach the depths of the soul. " Without love, there is no education. As a young teacher, I will always keep in mind Mr. Tao's teachings, constantly update my educational ideas, take Mr. Tao's theory as the guiding ideology, guide students to learn excellent skills, make students develop in an all-round way and become useful talents with innovative spirit and ability.
