Nankai university new campus
The new campus of Nankai University is a large-scale comprehensive physics campus jointly built by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Tianjin Municipal People's Government of China.
The new campus of Nankai University is located in Haihe Education Park, Jinnan District, Tianjin, covering an area of 250 hectares. The campus is divided into north-south axis and east-west axis, and the shared building library, undergraduate teaching building and experimental building are located on the north-south axis in turn. Liberal arts, science and emerging disciplines are scattered on the axis.
The campus building of the new campus of Nankai University, located on the north-south central axis, is magnificent. When people enter the campus from the east gate of the new campus, they will feel a campus trip through history. After entering the west gate, Nankai University will resume the construction of three famous buildings in the history of Nankai University according to the ratio of 1: 1. These buildings will also be given a new mission. Muzhai Library will become a school history museum, Xiushan Hall will become a museum, and Siyuan Hall will undertake cultural activities.
The overall color of the new campus of Nankai University will be brick red, and the color from east to west will also change from thick to light, and the building will gradually transition from restored ancient buildings to modern buildings that are still novel.
The new campus of Nankai University is a green "garden-style" university. The new campus has built a multi-energy utilization system, which uses shallow geothermal energy for cooling and heating, and solar energy to provide domestic hot water. The school will also build its own sewage treatment station. Using LED energy-saving street lamps on campus, all buildings must meet the national green building standards. In addition, split air conditioners will be uniformly used in student dormitories.
The construction of the new campus of Nankai University will further narrow the distance between TEDA colleges of Nankai University, thus forming a four-legged pattern of headquarters campus, Binhai College campus, Jinnan campus and TEDA College campus, and making great contributions to the construction and development of Tianjin Binhai New Area in China.
