The Ministry of Education officially announced the notice:
In principle, primary and secondary school students are not allowed to bring personal mobile phones into the campus. If necessary, parents must agree and apply in writing. After entering the school, the mobile phone will be kept by the school, and it is forbidden to bring it into the classroom.
Schools should incorporate mobile phone management into the daily management of schools, formulate specific measures, clarify the place, method and responsible person of unified storage, and provide necessary storage equipment.
Schools should set up public telephones and communication hotlines for class teachers to meet the needs of students and parents.
Teachers are not allowed to use mobile phones to assign homework or ask students to use mobile phones to complete homework.
The notice pointed out that schools should strengthen education and guidance through various forms, so that students can treat and use mobile phones scientifically and rationally, and avoid simple and rude management behaviors. Schools should do a good job in home-school communication, and parents should earnestly perform their educational duties to form a joint force of home-school education.
The notice requires that county-level education administrative departments should strengthen work guidance and solve the problems existing in school mobile phone management in a timely manner. Education supervision departments should strengthen daily supervision, ensure that relevant requirements are fully implemented, and promote the healthy growth of students.
