The Korean proficiency test, sponsored by Korea Education Curriculum Evaluation Institute, aims to evaluate the Korean proficiency of foreigners and overseas Chinese who are not native Korean speakers, as a basis for studying abroad and employment, and aims to prompt the direction of learning Korean and popularize Korean. The Korean proficiency test is currently implemented in 32 countries and 99 cities.
All countries and regions in the world recognize the evaluation and achievements of this exam. Candidates who take the Korean proficiency test are regardless of nationality, region or nationality. In particular, students studying Korean, students studying in Korea, employees of Korean enterprises or institutions at home and abroad, students and graduates can apply for the exam.
The Korean proficiency test includes:

Generally, the primary level of Korean is the primary school graduation level (HSK4-5), the intermediate level is the junior high school graduation level (HSK6-8), and the advanced level is the high school graduation level (HSK9- 1 1). Applying for studying in Korea has different requirements. Primary school students studying in Korea need to submit a certificate of elementary general Korean, and an intermediate certificate, a college entrance examination and an advanced general Korean certificate when applying for junior and senior high schools.

2. Candidates
Overseas Chinese are foreigners whose mother tongue is not Korean and Korean learners, who want to study in universities at home and abroad and are willing to work in Korean enterprises at home and abroad.
China can take the exam in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi, Qingdao, Changchun, Dalian, Nanjing, Chongqing, Guangzhou and Yanji.
3. Examination time
In April and September every year, exams are held at test sites all over the country at the same time. Take the primary and advanced exams in the morning and the intermediate exam in the afternoon (after adjustment, candidates can register for the morning exam or the afternoon exam at the same time).
