Shandong Province is the eastern coastal province of China, which is called Shandong for short and the capital of Jinan. Shandong's topographic types include mountains, hills, terraces, basins, plains and lakes. It spans five major water systems: Huaihe River, Yellow River, Haihe River, Xiaoqing River and Jiaodong. It belongs to warm temperate monsoon climate.
