During the winter vacation, I was deeply touched by studying life education. As a primary school teacher, the sixth grade students I teach are in the early stage of puberty, and their minds and bodies are undergoing a series of changes. At this moment, it is very important to give students proper life education. So how should we carry out life education? Now I want to talk about my superficial understanding.

First of all, we should combine life education with education in other disciplines.

Life education is not only health knowledge education, but also a profound humanistic education. We should make clear the meaning of "life education". "Life educators must be taught first". Only when teachers have the consciousness of life education and love life can they embody the concept of life education in teaching and educate students consciously or unconsciously in class. We can also combine life education with the teaching content of some marginal subjects (politics, morality and health) and tell students the great significance of life to us with examples. Through life education, students can establish a correct outlook on life, outlook on life and values, cultivate their own attitude of cherishing and respecting the lives of others, and make students develop healthily in personality.

Secondly, life education is combined with extracurricular practice.

Life education has a prominent feature, that is, in real life, it is mainly through action and behavior, not through language or theory. Life education is a special education that is more important than example. Only by educating people with specific behaviors or actions can we really influence people, influence people, shock people's minds and cultivate their personality, and affect their growth. Therefore, life education must attach importance to the role of practical education. Carry out life education through some extracurricular activities, such as news and traffic accidents around us, talk about the ruthless swallowing of life by traffic accidents, ask firefighters to talk about the cruel destruction of life by fire and water, and organize students to look at pictures, such as delivery rooms, baby rooms and operating rooms. Understand the origin of life, let students experience the happiness of life, understand the dignity of life, and form a correct attitude towards life and a correct sense of life.

Finally, life education must be the result of the joint efforts of schools, families and society.

Life education is not only a matter for schools, but also for the whole society. All walks of life should fully cooperate to form an atmosphere of respect and love for life and jointly undertake the responsibility of life education for students. Family is a child's first class, and parents are a child's first teacher. Parents' attitude towards life determines children's attitude towards life. Children who grow up in a positive, optimistic and enterprising family must have a healthy personality and know how to cherish themselves and respect the lives of others.

Tagore, a great Indian poet, said: "The purpose of education is to convey the breath of life to mankind." Therefore, the "teaching" of education should start with respect for life, do a good job of human nature and broaden people's minds. This is the good root for human beings to awaken themselves. "How to make a living" is only the primary purpose of education, and "what to live for" is the ultimate purpose of education. Let all our educators act.
