Bozhou University, referred to as Yuan Bo for short, is located in Bozhou City, Anhui Province. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school started with the Mengcheng Teachers Workshop founded by 1909, and Mengcheng Normal School was founded by 1952. In March 2002, it was independently upgraded to Bozhou Normal College with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

On March 20 16, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was independently upgraded to Bozhou College. The main construction contents include: the new campus of Bozhou University College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a construction area of 253,000 square meters.
