The major of Grape and Wine Engineering offered by the College has directly or indirectly promoted the opening of wine major in 20 universities in China. At present, 80% of the training programs, 70% of the professional teaching materials and 70% of the professional teachers used in domestic universities are from our school. 20 18 initiated the establishment of "China Wine Higher Education Alliance".

Over the past 32 years, the professional and technical personnel of grape and wine trained by our institute account for about 2/3 of the national wine industry. 1 1 Among the listed key wine enterprises, 8 are graduates of our school who are technical directors or chief engineers, which promotes China to become the largest wine producer in the world.

Adhering to the school motto of "cultivating the soil, nourishing the heart and brewing people", the College has been leading the development of China wine industry, promoting the introduction of the first national wine standard, establishing the industrial zoning layout in line with the characteristics of Chinese mainland monsoon climate, putting forward the industrial development idea of "small winery, big industry", and promoting the scientific and technological progress of China wine industry.

Help the arid and semi-arid areas in the west to develop 650,000 mu of wine grapes by using non-agricultural cultivated land, with an annual output of 300,000 tons of wine grapes, and discover and promote the rise of wine industry in emerging producing areas. The college is praised by the industry as "the cradle of talents, the source of technology, the fulcrum of industry and the platform of culture".
