Living habits of brown-breasted snipe
Brown-breasted snipe is a common bird in the San Francisco Bay Area. Wintering in the bay beach in winter and nesting and breeding in the saline-alkali beach in summer. This bird is often mixed with the black-necked long-legged snipe when foraging, resting and breeding. However, they are also enemies. Last week, in the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, we saw the phenomenon that black-necked long-legged snipe tried to eat brown-breasted snipe chicks.
