When I came to the gate of the special education school, I first felt the care of people from all walks of life and felt that the school was well built.
Then we came to the hearing-impaired class, interacted with the children, taught them to be silk flower, and prepared flowers for the upcoming grave-sweeping in Tomb-Sweeping Day.
In the process of teaching, we are amazed at the learning ability of these children. If you hadn't seen it with your own eyes, you wouldn't have thought that these beautiful silk flower were made by these children. Our team members looked at the achievements made by these children and sincerely admired and marveled. But when making flowers, the humility of children is really distressing. They are really eager, with loving eyes and encouraging words. You may not hear it, but you can feel it. I look at these physically and mentally disabled children, and I admire them more than I feel distressed.
Because of the time, there is not much interference with children's normal classes. When they left school, each team member had many thoughts and feelings. When they see our children's understanding, unfair mentality and hard work, they all think of ourselves. We are healthy and normal in all aspects, which is a happy thing, and we have become accustomed to it. We should reflect on whether we should cherish our happy life more.
As volunteers, we should have the determination and firm will to help others and serve the society. We should not be afraid of tedious work, not to mention the rewards we get after paying. Helping others can't be a mere formality, but from the heart. We should sincerely care for those who need help. Even a warm word and a caring gesture can give others a warm feeling, because our love is the most attractive.
Since I participated in this volunteer activity, I want to record it, make it a part of my life record, let myself remember it forever, and don't forget it because of the passage of time.
