Huang Yanpei on Vocational Education
Huang Yanpei was a famous educator, political activist and democrat in modern China.

Huang Yanpei's vocational education thought has laid the foundation of modern vocational education theory in China and is an important part of the theoretical system of vocational education in China. The following is excerpted from Huang Yanpei's exposition on vocational education:

-Let everyone get the supply and fun of life by means of education, and at the same time do their duty to the group. This is called vocational education.

-The word "occupation" I know includes making a living for myself and serving the group, which are really two sides of the coin. Therefore, vocational education is not only conflict-free, but also contributes greatly to the cultivation of the whole life, even to the cultivation of national concepts and national significance.

-I believe that the revival of a nation requires efforts from the upper level and countless people from the lower and middle levels. And the forces used by each other must be corresponding. What about me? Willing to work hard in the middle and lower classes.
