It is not easy. Qizhi School is a special school with nine-year compulsory education. The object of education is children with moderate or severe mental retardation diagnosed by hospitals or intelligence testing centers. Compared with teachers in ordinary schools, teachers in Qizhi School have more complicated teaching work and cannot teach in ordinary ways. They need to keep observing and thinking, and then help them improve and develop in appropriate ways. They must explore and learn from professional knowledge such as pathology, psychology and special pedagogy, so that our special students can develop, experience the joy of learning and enhance their self-confidence. Therefore, it is not easy for teachers in Qizhi School.
