Xunzi is from Zhao. Xunzi was a famous thinker and educator in the Warring States period, and devoted his life to education and academic activities. Xunzi not only accumulated rich experience in long-term educational practice, but also integrated hundreds of thoughts and formed his own unique educational view, which played an extremely important role in the history of ancient education in China. Xunzi served as the magistrate of Lanling County, and the site of Gulanling County is near Dige Town.
