It is a preferential policy issued by the state to better promote education equity and let more rural students go to college. The special plan of colleges and universities enrolls studious and excellent rural students in high schools below the county level (including county-level cities) in remote, poor and ethnic minority areas, and the specific implementation area is determined by the relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).
College special plan, local special plan and national special imitation plan belong to the three major plans of college entrance examination. The special plan for colleges and universities is undertaken by universities directly under the Ministry of Education and other pilot universities with independent enrollment, and the enrollment plan is not less than 2% of the undergraduate enrollment scale.
To participate in the special program to help colleges and universities, you need to meet the following three conditions:
1, which meets the registration conditions for the unified college entrance examination in 2023.
2. I, my father or mother or legal guardian have a rural household registration in the implementation area, and I have a local household registration for more than 3 years.
3. I have been studying in the county high school where my hukou is located for 3 consecutive years, and I actually attended it. On this basis, relevant colleges and universities can put forward other application requirements, and make it clear in the enrollment brochure to ensure that preferential policies benefit rural students.
Special programs in colleges and universities are not limited to majors. In general, all departments of colleges and universities will offer some majors, including popular majors and relatively unpopular majors. When colleges and universities issue special enrollment brochures, they will generally give corresponding enrollment majors, and logistics fiber colleges will set their own enrollment majors.
