What are the basic steps of educational research?
Basic steps of educational research:

1. Determine the problem. The first step in educational research is to choose the research problem. For a novice researcher, it is not a simple job to determine the research problem, but to determine the value of the problem, the relationship with the research topic, the conditions of the research problem and so on.

2. Put forward a hypothesis. The so-called "hypothesis" refers to a rational guess. Assumption is not a random guess, but a temporary answer to the question based on theory, past research, own experience or logical reasoning;

3. Design or choose research methods, consider which method is suitable for research, and how to design and implement research tools;

4. Collect data. In the whole research process, this step involves the actual collection of empirical data, which must be guided by research questions or assumptions, otherwise the collected data will lose its significance and value;

5. Draw a conclusion. In educational science research, conclusions must be based on the collected data, and conclusions beyond the research results cannot be drawn.
