Di Xiaohua: Choosing the direction of going abroad is the first step in applying for studying abroad, and it is also the most crucial step in guiding the overall situation. We must pay attention to it. The choice of direction is a question of knowing yourself and yourself. First of all, you should know your own needs, study abroad goals, economic level and so on. Then you should master all aspects of the target country, including academic system, language, institutions, majors, living standards, etc. On the basis of comprehensive consideration of this information, you can objectively and accurately determine the direction of going abroad. For example, studying in traditional countries, such as the United States, Britain and Canada, is good, but studying in emerging countries, such as Japan, South Korea and Germany, is also an option because of relatively low fees and preferential visa policies.
Reporter: What kind of skills do they need to qualify for customs clearance? How does stupidity help these young people realize their wishes?
Di Xiaohua: Applying for studying abroad is a process of comprehensively testing students' comprehensive quality. You must have a high GPA, excellent language scores and entrance examination scores, rich internship experience or scientific research background, excellent paperwork and excellent interview performance. It can be said that for most foreign students who apply for the first time, it is too difficult to cover everything at once. So what I have been trying to do is to provide resources, support, guidance and guarantee for students in all application stages.
For example, in terms of examinations, it is silly to constantly refine the training courses, including one-on-one and small classes, to meet the different needs of students. This year, we also launched a fool-style live broadcast distance teaching, breaking the time and space restrictions and taking classes at home to create convenience for students as much as possible. For example, in terms of application, in addition to one-on-one application counseling, students have been given the greatest resource support in backstage promotion this year. The newly launched study tour channel has nearly 100 high-quality projects, which is silly. Whether it is internship, scientific research, summer school or summer camp, students can take whatever they want.
Reporter: Do you have any good suggestions for some foreign students' inadaptability in the early stage of studying abroad? How should they integrate into the new living environment?
Di Xiaohua: First of all, we should treat this maladjustment with a correct attitude. It is an inevitable running-in process for every international student. Independent life, foreign culture, new academic content and a circle of friends that need to be re-established, foreign students should first face up to these factors and then adjust their peaceful transition. Here is a suggestion for international students, especially young students and their parents: before preparing to study abroad, not only should you make a good application, but you should also adjust your mentality and cultivate your ability to live independently, so that there will be no big gap when you live independently abroad. In order to help students overcome their initial maladjustment in studying abroad, Naisha set up his own alumni association. In a few years, its scale has been very large. As far as I know, some of our students spontaneously organized a club after attending the Naisha Alumni Association (laughs). All the stupid students who have worked together will enter the stupid alumni association, and they have already met their alumni before they are ready to leave for study abroad. There are also brothers and sisters in the same session, so they have provided great support to the students in learning and making friends, helping them to tide over the difficulties of integrating into the new environment as soon as possible.
Reporter: With the continuous advancement of mass entrepreneurship and innovation in China, more and more returnees have chosen the road of entrepreneurship. what do you think? Any good suggestions?
Di Xiaohua: From the overall environment, the trend in recent years is indeed more and more suitable for foreign students to start businesses. Funds can be invested by angels, resources can be integrated through the Internet, and entrepreneurs need more ideas and creativity, which is what international students who come back from overseas education are good at. However, the road to entrepreneurship is also full of opportunities and risks. In addition to having ideas, you also need courage and leadership to face setbacks and accept challenges. Most of the international students are young people, especially those who graduated from excellent foreign universities. They are full of ambitions and need to plan their future in a down-to-earth way. My advice to foreign students is to make a clear and reasonable plan for their future career development, whether it is employment or entrepreneurship, try to find the most suitable road for them, and then find and use the best resources on this road.
