Institutional setup: The former Qujiang Commune and Dongshan Commune set up a leading group for education reform1978; 1978 cancel the leading group and establish Qujiang school district and Dongshanba school district; 1986 Revocation of Qujiang Town Education Management Committee and Dongshanba Township Education Management Committee; In 2003, Qujiang Town Education Management Committee merged. In 2004, Qujiang Town Education Management Committee was abolished and Qujiang Town Central School was established. 1978 the former Qujiang school district has 20 junior high schools, 9 village schools/kloc-0, 7,608 primary and secondary school students and 0/24 public teaching staff. The former Dongshanba Township School District has 7 junior high schools, 13 complete primary schools and village primary schools, with 4,848 primary and secondary school students and 48 public teaching and administrative staff. 1997, cancel junior middle school classes and establish Qujiang Middle School and Dongshan Middle School. In 2004, Qujiang Town had 3 middle schools, 2,642 middle school students, 29 village primary schools, 6,770 pupils, 62 preschool classes and kindergartens, and 1904 school-age children. The central school has 677 faculty members. There are 17 multimedia classrooms, 10 computer classrooms and 3 12 computers.
