(1) China's educational psychology was first introduced from the west. 1924, Liao Shicheng compiled the first educational psychology textbook in China. Since then, several books on educational psychology have appeared.

(2) Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, some scholars made a certain degree of scientific research on subject psychology, especially China's teaching psychology, pedagogy and psychological test, but the methods and viewpoints of studying problems mostly imitated those of the West and did not have their own theoretical system.

(3) After the founding of the People's Republic of China, I mainly studied and introduced the theory and research of educational psychology in the former Soviet Union.

(4) In the early 1960s, subject psychology did a lot of experimental research. It stopped from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. At the end of 1970s, with the revival and prosperity of educational psychology, more and more educational psychology textbooks were compiled and translated.

(5) At present, theoretical and applied research carried out by domestic and foreign workers is playing an increasingly important role in education and teaching practice.
