The Beijing Municipal Education Commission requires all primary and secondary schools in this city to carry out an emergency evacuation drill so that primary and secondary school students can master basic self-help and self-care skills. All districts and counties should determine their own safety education priorities according to the weak links and outstanding problems in the safety of students going to and from school, such as traffic, fire fighting, earthquake, response to natural disasters, crowded trampling, prevention of drowning and food hygiene.
