Legal basis: Article 10 of the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) Detention Center stipulates that criminals detained in detention centers shall undergo health examination, and shall not be detained under any of the following circumstances: (1) those suffering from mental illness or acute infectious diseases; (two) suffering from other serious diseases, which may be life-threatening or unable to take care of themselves, but being detained; No detention for the most heinous crimes, except those that are dangerous to society; (3) Women who are pregnant or breast-feeding babies under one year old.
