Jiujiang College, located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located at the foot of Lushan Mountain and beside Poyang Lake. Led by Jiangxi Province, it was selected into the "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program". Jiujiang College was formed in March 2002 by the merger of Jiujiang College of Finance and Economics, Jiujiang Teachers College, Jiujiang Medical College and Jiujiang Education College. The former Jiujiang Institute of Finance and Economics was formerly the China People's Liberation Army Enterprise Cadre School, which was founded in 198 1. Jiujiang Teachers College was founded in1958; Jiujiang Medical College was founded in Danford Nursing School 190 1. The former Jiujiang Institute of Education was founded in 1985.
