Zhejiang Jinyun Senior High School, located in Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province, is a first-class key middle school in Zhejiang Province and a national modern educational technology experimental school. Zhejiang Jinyun Middle School was founded in 1906, formerly known as "Wuyun School"; 19 13, renamed "Wuyun School"; 1929, "Private Wuyun Junior High School" was founded and renamed as "Private Xiandu Junior High School" in the same year; 1May, 949, the name of the school was changed to "wu yun zhen Central Ethnic School in Jinyun County"; February 1950, renamed as "Jinyun County Middle School"; 1953 was renamed as "Zhejiang Jinyun Middle School".

Jinyun, referred to as Jinyun for short, belongs to Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, and is an "old revolutionary county" and a "hometown of ducks in China". It is located in the hinterland of southern Zhejiang, the hilly and mountainous area in the south-central part, the northeast of Lishui, and 0/75km away from Hangzhou/KLOC. It is located between 28 25' and 28 57' north latitude, between119 52'-120 25' east longitude, adjacent to Xianju county in the east, Yongjia county in the southeast, qingtian county city in the south, Lishui city in the west, Wuyi county in the northwest and northeast. It is 54.6 kilometers wide from east to west, 59.9 kilometers long from north to south and 304.4 kilometers long in the county. Total area 1503.52 square kilometers, and the built-up area is 4.6 square kilometers. It governs 9 towns, 15 townships and 642 administrative villages.
