Young Horse Project is the abbreviation of Young Marxists Training Project. In 2007, with the support of relevant ministries and commissions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League launched the "Young Horse Project" to train young political backbones with firm beliefs, outstanding abilities, excellent quality and excellent work style for the Party.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Youth League, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League has regarded the "Young Horse Project" as an important carrier to fulfill its fundamental tasks and political responsibilities, and has made clear the training goal of scientifically cultivating young political backbones with "loyal political character, strong feelings for home and country, solid theoretical foundation, outstanding ability and quality, loyalty and forbearance, and obedience to orders".

Pay equal attention to training, focus on improving quality and expanding scope, reform and innovate working mechanism, and give full play to the political function of educating people for the party. In principle, the intensive training period of each phase of the Youth Horse Project is 1 year, and the scale of each national studies class is about 200 people. Classes at other levels are arranged reasonably according to the principle of few but fine. By June 2020, nearly 2 million people have been trained in the "Green Horse Project" at all levels.

In June, 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council jointly issued the Opinions on Deeply Implementing the Training Project for Young Marxists, and made arrangements for deeply implementing the "Qingma Project" in the new era.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Youth League, the Youth Horse Project has strived to improve its quality and expand its scope in accordance with the training objectives of "loyal political character, strong feelings for home and country, solid theoretical foundation, excellent ability and quality, loyalty and forgiveness, and serving the public with character" and the working direction of "controlling quantity, emphasizing practice and adjusting structure".

After 10 years of development, the "Youth Horse Project" at all levels has trained nearly 2 million people, and has achieved positive results in promoting the widespread dissemination of Marxist theory among young people and strengthening the practical exploration of cultivating young political backbones, and has become a "golden signboard" for the Communist Youth League to educate people.

In June 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council jointly issued the Opinions on Further Implementing the Training Project for Young Marxists.

On April 1 1, 2022, he graduated from the 2022 National Young Marxists Training Project sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the opening ceremony was held in the Central School of the Communist Youth League.
