After obtaining the qualification certificate, the second-level constructor can directly apply for initial registration without continuing education. Because the Regulations on the Administration of Registered Architects clearly stipulates that the initial registrant can apply within 3 years from the date of issuance of the qualification certificate. Those who fail to apply within the time limit must meet the requirements of continuing education in this major before applying for initial registration.
continuing education
A registered construction engineer shall meet the requirements of continuing education stipulated by the competent construction department of the State Council within the validity period of each registration. Continuing education is divided into compulsory courses and elective courses, and each course is 60 hours in each registration period. After continuing education reaches the qualified standard, a certificate of continuing education will be issued. The certificate of continuing education is a certificate issued by the unit that has obtained the qualification of continuing education and training according to the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
