Anhui Medical University, referred to as Anhui Medical University, is located in Hefei, Anhui Province. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the National Health and Wellness Commission and the People's Government of Anhui Province. It is a pilot university of the "Excellent Doctoral Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education and a key university in Anhui Province. It is the first batch of high-level universities with local characteristics and the first batch of comprehensive reform pilot schools in Anhui Province.
Anhui Medical University was formerly a private Southeast Medical University founded by 1926 in Shanghai. 1930 was renamed Southeast Medical College, and 1949 moved to Huaiyuan, Anhui. In 195 1, it was changed from private to public; 1952 moved to Hefei, Anhui, and changed its name to Anhui Medical College; 1996 changed its name to Anhui medical university.
As of March 2023, the school has three campuses: Meishan Road, Emerald Road and East Campus. Four doctors authorized the first-level discipline, and 45 doctors authorized two disciplines; There are 14 master's degrees to authorize first-class disciplines, and 80 master's degrees to authorize two disciplines.
