Tuition and accommodation fee refund regulations
According to the Notice of the Ministry of Education, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance on Several Issues Concerning Further Standardizing the Management of Education Fees in Colleges and Universities (No.2 [2006] of the State Council), if students drop out of school or finish their studies ahead of schedule, colleges and universities will calculate the remaining tuition fees according to the actual study time of the students and refund them monthly. Similarly, the accommodation fee will be refunded according to the actual accommodation time.

Withdrawal procedure

Tuition and accommodation can be refunded, but only if you complete the withdrawal procedure.

Calculation method of refund

The specific calculation method is to divide the annual tuition and accommodation fee by 10 (one year of study 10 months) and multiply it by the study time (calculated on a monthly basis) to get the tuition fee that should be refunded. Accommodation is calculated in the same way.

Relevant regulations

If students drop out of school or transfer after entering school, the school needs to go through the refund procedures in accordance with relevant regulations. The "relevant regulations" here refer to the above-mentioned document Jiaocai [2006] No.2.
