To build a new moral system in the new century and emphasize the inheritance of Chinese virtues is to recognize the historical inheritance of morality, which is the premise of innovation, and continuous innovation is the only way for moral development. Moral education and construction can not be immediate, let alone quick success; To build a new morality, we cannot cut off history, "start from scratch" or "start a new stove". No nation can "completely break away" from its traditional culture.
The evolution of ancient moral norms in China is the "root" and "source" of moral education in contemporary schools. The eight moral goals locked in this topic: loyalty, filial piety, faith, courtesy, righteousness, honesty and shame, are intended to inherit the traditional Chinese virtues, give them new connotations and reflect the new value of national vitality. In the experiment and practice of "Chinese Virtue" education in 10, by determining the moral goal system and compiling teaching materials, it is gradually found that these eight kinds of morality are the important basis for constructing the moral goal system of today's schools, which are not only the traditional Chinese virtues passed down from generation to generation by the Chinese nation for 5,000 years, but also constantly created, updated and developed; Moreover, it is the national spirit in today's social life, the national spirit in the Student Code for primary and secondary schools, the national spirit in the civic convention, the national spirit in the professional ethics of all walks of life, and the national spirit in managing families, developing industries and governing the country. In order to construct the traditional moral system of schools and help teachers and educators who participate in educational experiments to understand the historical evolution of "eight virtues"; Grasp and distinguish the duality of the essence and dross of "eight virtues"; Understand the historical value of this "eight virtues"; Exploring the response of "Eight Virtues" to moral problems in modern society: mastering the path of improving one's moral cultivation. We spent a year in 1999, organized eight doctors who had studied liberal arts to compile it, and Hongqi Publishing House published a set of popular moral books. Every doctor writes one of them. These eight books are: loyalty-loyalty to the country, filial piety-boundless love, sincerity-truth-seeking and pragmatic qualities, and. These eight subheadings reflect the modern transformation of traditional morality and cultural innovation.
First of all, "eight virtues" not only involves social, economic, political and other fields, but also covers the moral relationship between individuals, families and society. If a China person can possess these eight qualities to varying degrees, he is a moral person, not only will he not lag behind the times, but will become a strong man in the new century. The whole country, with this moral standard system, can gradually build a "state of etiquette" in the new century. Today, China needs these eight morals. As long as China people have these eight kinds of morals to varying degrees, the social morality of China will be greatly improved. A moral nation and a moral power are presented to the world, and there is hope for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Secondly, from the different functions of each virtue, these eight virtues can be roughly divided into four levels: 1, "righteousness" and "loyalty", which are not only the soul and spiritual realm of China's morality, but also the core, consciousness and value goal of morality. 2. "Honesty" and "keeping promise" are not only moral quality and moral personality, but also reflect the economic value of morality, which is the urgent need of all citizens in the market economy environment and the urgent need for the continuous standardization and maturity of the market economy; 3. "Rite" and "honesty" are not only the external manifestations of moral quality and moral civilization value of moral subjects, but also the external manifestations of moral conscience and moral political value; 4. "Filial piety" and "shame" are not only the basis of moral emotion and the motive source of moral value, but also the psychological basis of morality and the discrimination and choice of moral value.
