School profile, major in finance and trade:
Guangzhou Finance and Business Vocational School was established in 1960. In July 2020, it was formed by the integration of Guangzhou Finance and Business Vocational School and Guangzhou Business Vocational School. The school belongs to Guangzhou Education Bureau, which is a national model school for vocational education reform and development and a national key secondary vocational school.
In the 60-year history of running a school, financial businessmen have made great efforts to make progress and achieved fruitful educational and teaching achievements that are well-known throughout the country and leading the province. It has become the benchmark of national financial and business secondary vocational schools, trained a large number of talents for Guangdong and even the whole country, and enjoyed the reputation of "Huangpu Military Academy" for financial and business technical talents.
The design elements of the entire school emblem are kapok, shovel-shaped coins, Guang Zhouta and lines. Kapok is a landmark plant in Lingnan area. As a visual element, the design of a graphic framework can intuitively reflect the regional characteristics of the school, which means that the school is bred in the fertile soil of Lingnan.
The middle part of the school emblem is a combination of ancient coins (shovel-shaped coins) and Guang Zhouta. Money symbolizes wealth and circulation, and intuitively reflects the financial and commercial attributes of the school.
Guang Zhouta, on the other hand, represents Guangzhou, where the school is located, with its spire soaring into the sky, which reminds people that "a gentleman will strive for self-improvement", and the school is constantly developing towards high quality and high level.
The color of the lower part of the school emblem reflects the red earth, the white bridge and the blue ocean. The three groups of line patterns not only represent books and knowledge, but also symbolize the bridge of integration between the two universities, and also symbolize the soaring Peng and the vibrant river. The second half is mainly about weight, which means that "the terrain is Kun, and the gentleman carries things with morality".
