Peking University School of Medicine:

Peking university health science center is located in Haidian District, Beijing. Its predecessor was the National Beijing Medical College, which was founded in 19 12. This is the first national medical college independently run by China government to teach western medicine. 1996 passed the first batch of "2 1 1 project" arguments. In 2000, it merged with Peking University and started the "985" project in the same year. With the deep integration and development with the headquarters, medicine has made great progress.

In recent years, with the support of "double first-class" construction, it has entered a new stage of development. Peking University Medicine integrates teaching, scientific research and medical treatment, covering basic medicine, clinical medicine, stomatology, pharmacy, public health and preventive medicine, nursing, medical technology, integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine, as well as science, engineering, teaching, philosophy and literature.

Teaching runs through the whole process of undergraduate, graduate and continuing education. At present, there are 89 doctoral degree authorization points (12 first-level discipline points and 77 two disciplines points), 95 master degree authorization points (14 first-level discipline points and 8 1 two disciplines points) and 9 postdoctoral mobile stations. The medical campus at No.38 Xueyuan Road has five colleges: Basic Medical College, Pharmacy College, Public Health College, Nursing College and Medical Humanities College.

There are 6 directly affiliated hospitals (clinical medical colleges), 4 hospitals and teaching hospitals 1 1, which undertake the teaching, scientific research and practical tasks of related disciplines and provide medical services to the society. There are currently 10273 students in the school, including 3,293 doctoral students, 26 master students, 4,025 undergraduates and 34 international students. Online education has 79 17 students.

It has a large number of well-known medical education, scientific research and clinical experts at home and abroad, including 3 109 senior professional titles, 7 academicians of the two academies (China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering), 89 national R&D key project leaders, 749 doctoral supervisors and 50 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

It has three national first-class key disciplines, two national second-class key disciplines 12, three national key laboratories, five national engineering research centers 1, five national clinical medical research centers, three national international joint research centers, three national medical centers, one frontier science center 1, and a national integrated innovation platform for medicine Industry-University-Research 1.
