Qingyi education
The four clean-ups movement refers to the socialist education movement in urban and rural areas in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China from 1963 to 1966. 1In February, 963, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a working meeting and decided to launch a socialist education campaign with the four clean-ups as the main content in rural areas. In May, Mao Zedong convened a small meeting in Hangzhou attended by some members of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and secretaries of various regions, and formulated the Decision on Several Issues Concerning Rural Work (Draft) (Ten Articles). On May 20th, the Central Committee took it as a programmatic document to guide the socialist education movement and conveyed it within the Party. The "Ten Major Articles" made a "Left" evaluation of the rural situation, holding that there has been a serious and sharp class struggle in China society, and capitalist and feudal forces are frantically attacking the party, demanding the reorganization of the revolutionary class ranks to suppress counter-revolutionary arrogance. The document conveyed Mao Zedong's words. If class struggle is not grasped, it will take at least a few years, ten years and decades, and there will inevitably be a nationwide counter-revolutionary restoration. The Marxist-Leninist Party will definitely become a revisionist party, a fascist party and all China will change color. In September, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a working meeting in Beijing to discuss and formulate the Provisions on Certain Specific Policies of Rural Socialist Education Movement (Draft) (the last ten articles). The "last ten articles" carry out the guiding ideology of the "first ten articles", emphasize "taking class struggle as the key link", point out the importance of uniting more than 95% of farmers and rural cadres, and stipulate policies such as relying on grassroots organizations and cadres and treating the children of landlords and rich peasants correctly. 165438+1October 14 the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "Notice on Printing and Distributing Two Documents of Rural Socialist Education Movement", stipulating that these two "Ten Articles" should be printed and distributed to every rural branch and read out inside and outside the Party. Since then, on the basis of pilot projects, various localities have begun to carry out socialist education campaigns in some counties and cooperatives. At first, the content of the Four Clean-ups Movement was "clearing work points, clearing accounts, clearing warehouses and clearing property" in rural areas, and later it was "clearing thoughts, politics, organization and economy" in urban and rural areas. The four clean-ups movement has played a certain role in solving the problems of leading cadres' style and economic management. However, because all kinds of problems are simply attributed to the reflection of class struggle or inner-party class struggle, many grassroots cadres have been mishandled and attacked. The four clean-ups movement was actually to prepare for the launch of the "Cultural Revolution".
