Ningbo Institute of Education is an adult normal college with a history of more than 50 years. Its main task is to train in-service teachers and educational administrative cadres in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Ningbo, and to train full-time vocational students. Ningbo Education Administrative Cadre Training Center, Ningbo Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training Center and Ningbo Kindergarten Teacher Training Center are affiliated to our school. At present, the school has two campuses, namely, Huancheng Campus and Yucai Campus, covering an area of more than 70 mu, with a construction area of about 4 1 000 square meters. The campus around the city is mainly used for teacher training and adult education; Yucai Campus is used to meet the educational and teaching needs of higher vocational students. Every year,15,000 principals and teachers of primary and secondary schools come to our school for training. Schools actively expand training channels, explore training modes, create training characteristics and build training brands. In recent years, significant changes have taken place in normal education, which has been fully affirmed by students and education administrative departments, and its social reputation has been greatly improved. The school started higher vocational education in 2005. At present, there are nearly 3,000 full-time vocational students and 3,837 correspondence students. At present, the staff of Ningjiao Institute are aiming at "strengthening service, innovating mechanism, improving quality and scientific development" and "strengthening teachers' dry training, doing excellent vocational education, doing adult education and doing extensive social education".
