The Education Department of Hebei Province is an integral part of the provincial government and is in charge of education in the whole province. Co-located with the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China College Working Committee. At present, there are 0/28 cadres and 23 offices.

According to the Notice of the General Office of the State Council and the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC on Printing and Distributing the Institutional Reform Plan of the People's Government of Hebei Province (Guo Ban Fa [2009]14) and the Notice of the People's Government of Hebei Province on the Establishment of Provincial Government Institutions (Zheng Ji [2009] No.46), the Education Department of Hebei Province was established as a department of the provincial government.

The Education Committee of Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China is still co-located with the Education Department of Hebei Province, with two brands in one institution.

(1) office. Responsible for the daily operation of the organs such as messages, meetings, confidential information, archives, finance and fixed assets. Responsible for supervision, news release, letters and visits, security and confidentiality. Undertake the work of educational informatization.

(2) Policy and Regulation Department. Coordinate the drafting of local laws and government regulations on education. Responsible for the legal construction of the education system. Coordinate administrative work according to law, be responsible for administrative licensing, administrative law enforcement and administrative supervision, be responsible for relevant administrative reconsideration and administrative litigation, and undertake the legality review of regulatory documents of organs.

Responsible for the investigation and study of major issues in education reform, policy formulation and organization and coordination. Responsible for the overall planning, comprehensive coordination, supervision and management of private education. To guide the work of educational academic groups.

(3) Development Planning Office. Draw up the education development plan of the whole province. Responsible for the management system reform and layout structure adjustment of colleges and universities and provincial secondary specialized schools, and review the establishment, revocation, renaming and adjustment of colleges and universities and provincial secondary specialized schools. Responsible for the overall coordination of education reform and development in xiong'an new area, and undertake the related work of coordinated development of education in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

Work out the enrollment plan of colleges and universities in conjunction with relevant departments and supervise its implementation, cooperate with relevant departments to be responsible for the management of investment projects within the central budget, be responsible for the infrastructure management of colleges and universities directly under the Ministry, be responsible for the construction of social credit system of education system, be responsible for the overall coordination of education and aid to Xinjiang and Tibet, and guide and coordinate the logistics management of colleges and universities.

Responsible for the statistical work of the province's basic education information.
