Adult sex education has four main contents:
First, help adults build a happy family life through sex education. With the progress of science and technology, the development of society, and the implementation of family planning policy as a national policy of our country, people's view of marriage has changed in a more perfect direction, and they have begun to realize that the main function of marriage is not only to give birth to offspring, but more importantly, to obtain the greatest spiritual pleasure and happiness in life from marriage. Sex education should provide timely sexual knowledge information for adults. For example, to understand the differences between men and women in psychological preparation, expression and expectation; Understand the physiological and psychological changes of husband and wife with age; The happiness of marriage depends not only on the success of sexual life, but also on the communication and adjustment of spiritual and emotional relations. When there is a crack or crisis in marriage, you know to seek help from the appropriate department.
Second, adult sexual moral education. Different times, different societies, different cultures and different nationalities have their own specific provisions on sexual ethics. On the one hand, it is determined by relevant laws and regulations; On the other hand, we should improve people's moral level and standardize people's sexual moral behavior through various education. For example, in May of 198 1, the Swedish Sex Education Association pointed out in its annual report that sex has at least three functions for men and women:
1 to satisfy the individual;
2. Establish a good adult relationship;
3. Create a new life.
Although people's sexual concept is progressing, there are still a lot of sexual moral problems in real life, such as discrimination against women, domestic violence, extramarital affairs, abandonment of babies and various forms of "gender wars", which must be solved step by step through sex education.
Third, adult sexual health education. Sex education in this area aims at ensuring people's reproductive health, preventing and treating various sexually transmitted diseases, and spreading all health knowledge and information related to sex to people. For example, knowledge about pregnancy, contraception and abortion; The knowledge of "Three Excellent Projects" widely publicized and implemented in China, including eugenics, excellent education and excellent education; STD and AIDS prevention knowledge, etc. In recent years, the infection rate of AIDS has increased year by year, and there is no effective treatment at present. Health education to prevent AIDS can achieve two purposes:
1. Make people clearly understand the transmission route and prevention methods of AIDS, thus eliminating people's fear;
2. By introducing specific prevention methods, people's risky behaviors can be reduced and the purpose of reducing AIDS infection can be achieved.
Fourth, adults who have given birth to children should learn how to educate their children about sex. It is the earliest place where family children receive sex education. Parents must answer their children's sexual questions honestly and wisely. Therefore, to correctly induce and educate children, we must know the correct sexual knowledge. At the same time, when children go to school, especially when they enter adolescence, as parents of students, they can cooperate with the school to systematically educate their children; Parents can also play an important role in assisting schools to formulate and implement sex education plans; Moreover, we can exchange views with children on sex issues and make up for the neglected knowledge in school sex education.
According to the current situation in China, adult sex education can be implemented in the following ways:
1, incorporated into the curriculum of colleges and universities;
2. Incorporate into adult education curriculum;
3. Teaching sexual knowledge through parent schools established in primary and secondary schools;
4. Health education in hospitals;
5. Use mass media;
6. Marriage and family counseling;
7. Academic exchanges and short-term training through non-governmental academic groups;
8. Through the intervention of relevant scientific research projects and the education of relevant people;
9. Through community health education.
