Young people, especially college students, are the backbone of all fronts of the motherland tomorrow and the backbone of future social development. The success of the socialist cause depends on the overall quality of young people, especially college students. Therefore, it is an important and urgent task to strengthen the honesty education of college students and improve their honesty consciousness as a whole, and it is also an urgent task of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
First, the main manifestations of college students' lack of integrity
The credit status of contemporary college students plays a guiding role in the credit status of the whole society and will directly affect the construction of the credit environment of the whole society. At present, the lack of honesty of college students in China is mainly manifested in the aspects of thought, study and life.
First, the concept of honesty is confusing. College students are a special group. From the stage of life, most college students are young people aged 18-22. This stage is a period when the individual's physical development tends to be perfect and mature, and it is also an important stage when the psychology tends to be mature. At this stage, most students' world outlook, outlook on life and values have not been finalized. Although the mainstream of their value orientation shows a healthy and upward trend, although they advocate the moral principle of honesty and trustworthiness, they often show contradictory and changeable mentality in the face of complex social phenomena because of their lack of social experience and poor moral judgment and self-restraint ability. In order to pursue fame and fortune, they unconsciously give up the moral principle of honesty and trustworthiness on some issues, which leads to the belief that "moral problems in real life" is not firm enough or even confused, which is quite common among contemporary college students.

Fourth, communication activities lack honesty and interpersonal indifference. According to the newspaper, in a survey of 420 students in a university, it was found that nearly 50% of the respondents lacked sufficient trust and security in others. Second, the reasons for the lack of integrity of college students

All these have a negative impact on college students' moral concepts and behaviors.
Second, family education factors. From ancient times to the present, the influence of family education on children in China is very important. As a child's first teacher, parents' moral personality directly affects the effect of children's moral socialization. With the fierce social competition, many parents have high expectations for their children, value wisdom over morality, think that good grades are enough, pay little attention to children's moral shaping, and ignore the standardization and correction of their daily behavior. Some parents regard earning profits as a personal value criterion, conniving, encouraging and even instigating their children to break the contract and be dishonest, which objectively aggravates the students' integrity defects and causes the deviation of their values. This makes the personality elements of honesty not well penetrated into the shaping of children's moral personality. Due to the influence of family, social reality and school education are not completely harmonious, which leads to many unnecessary moral and psychological conflicts and puzzles among students, diluting or even offsetting some positive education carried out by schools.
Third, the influence of college students' own factors and internal factors. Some college students have poor self-regulation ability, which leads to the lack of integrity. Contemporary college students are basically only children, and they are self-centered in their families. The superior living conditions made them gradually develop some bad habits. After the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities, the quality of students is mixed, and some students have herd mentality, which eventually leads to the lack of integrity. To carry out honesty education and cultivate honesty habits, we must guide students to tell the truth, honesty and righteousness, and "do what you say and do what you do" to be a moral, literate and trustworthy person.
Fourth, the integrity education system in colleges and universities is not perfect. In basic education, schools pay too much attention to the rate of students entering higher education. Third, countermeasures to strengthen college students' honesty education
