The China Postgraduate Innovation Practice Series Competition 10 Anniversary Summary Meeting hosted by China Academic Degree and Postgraduate Education Society and the theme forum of "Keeping up with the times, making every effort to help top-notch innovative talents cultivate independently" were held recently in Fudan University. Weng Tiehui, member of the Party Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, Yang Wei, President of China Association for Degree and Postgraduate Education, Xie Dong, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Qiu Xin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan University, attended the meeting and made speeches.

Weng Tiehui expressed warm congratulations on the achievements of 10 China Postgraduate Innovation Practice Series Competition. She pointed out that for the first time, the Party's Report to the 20th CPC National Congress made unified arrangements for the three major strategies of education, science and technology and talents. As a key combination of education, science and technology and talents, graduate education is a strategic resource to realize high-level scientific and technological self-reliance, accelerate the construction of national strategic talent team and win the initiative in international competition. Facing the new era, new situation and new requirements, China's postgraduate education should persist in innovation, continue to focus on key construction, system reform and infrastructure construction, and move towards a strong postgraduate education country. She hopes that the series of postgraduate innovation practice competitions can take the initiative to make the strategic arrangements and major decision-making arrangements made by Report to the 20th CPC National Congress, promote scientific and technological innovation through competitions, promote talent training through competitions, help the connotative high-quality development of postgraduate education, reach the top of the world, and make greater contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

China Postgraduate Innovation Practice Series Competition was founded on 20 13. Under the guidance of the Department of Degree Management and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education, it was co-sponsored by China Institute of Degree and Postgraduate Education and Youth Science and Technology Center of China Association for Science and Technology. The contest set up 16 theme events, involving integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, network security, aerospace, smart cities and so on. It has set up a stage for innovative practice and academic exchange for more than 880,000 graduate students and teachers.
