Hunan Vocational College for Nationalities, located in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, is a public full-time provincial demonstration school of ordinary colleges and universities. It is the only higher vocational college in Hunan Province that has the professional qualification of enrolling primary education and preschool education.
College was founded in 1952, then named Changsha Normal School. On March 5, 2004, it was renamed Hunan Vocational College for Nationalities.
As of March 20 16, the college covers an area of 1000 mu, with a construction area of about 260,000 square meters and assets of 760 million. There are more than 600 faculty members, including 280 associate professors, 200 graduate students, 27 double-qualified teachers 127 students 13000 students. There are 10 departments and adult education colleges, 30 junior colleges and 3 technical secondary schools.
