Through research and analysis, I think the main reasons are as follows:

1, social factors

(1) Economic development has improved people's living standards. With the development of economy and the improvement of people's living standards, many students are not interested in learning. Many of them advocate money worship and lose traditional virtues, such as self-improvement, self-esteem, self-love and self-reliance. And don't make progress. In terms of moral concept, many teenagers' collectivism spirit is weakened and their sense of social responsibility is weak. In the way of life, they crave pleasure, have no hard-working quality, and crave high consumption. The change and influence of these values make the position of political course decline in students' minds. They think that politics is a minor course, and it doesn't matter whether you watch it or not, which seriously affects students' interest in politics.

(2) The influence of current education mode and college entrance examination mode. Although the country advocates quality education and promotes the all-round development of students' morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor, the evaluation model of college entrance examination is still lifelong, so the examination-oriented education model is basically implemented in high school. Because of exam-oriented education, it is common in the whole society to regard test scores and enrollment rate as the main or even the only criteria to measure teaching quality, and to link them with teachers' salary evaluation and promotion. 2. School factors

At present, some schools do not pay enough attention to the status and teaching of political courses. In some schools, students have only one political lesson a week, and even students who take elective courses have only two lessons a week, and there is no self-study class; Some school leaders also think that high school politics classes can be attended or not, and there is almost no bad influence on one more class or one less class; In the arrangement of class affairs, political lessons are always arranged in the last class in the morning or the first class in the afternoon. The students are either hungry or sleeping. Can such an environment stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning? Even some school teachers regard politics as a self-study course, or teachers of other majors like to take politics classes to take Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages and other courses, so the status of politics classes is seriously weakened, not to mention students' interest in politics classes.

3. Teacher factors

Political teachers' teaching concepts, personal qualities, teachers' teaching level and teaching methods greatly affect students' interest in political lessons.

The traditional educational concept only pays attention to the imparting of knowledge and the examination results of candidates. As long as students have good test scores, they are high-level teachers. The evaluation of students also thinks that excellent grades are good students, and most of them pay attention to homework and grades. At the same time, the traditional educational concept also believes that improving the teaching quality lies in increasing the ability to instill knowledge and increasing the amount of homework after class. Practice has proved that this practice not only has little effect, but also makes students feel tired and afraid of learning, regard reading as a heavy burden and lose interest in learning. Under the new situation, teachers must change their ideas, get rid of the shackles of exam-oriented education, strengthen research, explore new ways to educate people, mobilize students' initiative in learning, change "I want to learn" into "I want to learn" and improve teaching quality.

Regarding the quality of political teachers, we can see that the quality of political teachers is uneven at present. Some teachers lack the necessary innovative consciousness and ability, and lack the teaching concept of keeping pace with the times; Some teachers have poor teaching ability, outdated knowledge structure and simplified teaching mode; Teachers' teaching methods are single, and empty preaching and boring theory can't attract students; Some teachers lack teaching design ability, teaching language expression ability and modern educational technology application ability. All these have seriously affected teachers' own quality and students' interest in learning political lessons. At the same time, due to the pressure of college entrance examination and further education, many political teachers just give lectures. This teaching method will make students fall into a strange circle of rote memorization, reduce their interest in political lessons, and study purely for exams will make political lessons lack vitality, leading to an increase in the proportion of students who are tired of learning. Over time, students' interest in political lessons will be lower.

4. Student factors

The survey results show that an important reason why some students are unwilling to study politics is that they think politics has nothing to do with themselves and is too far from reality. It is believed that the teaching of political course is untrue because of compulsory education, which is not helpful to understand the real society and has a distance from it. For example, in "Political Life" of Senior Two, it is said that people are masters of the country, and many students lament that it is too fake. We don't feel that we are the masters of the country and society. We always feel that we ordinary people are trampled on by others and have no basic rights. Politics class is so unreal. Political theory can't create much social wealth and economic benefits, and it's difficult to get employment in the future, so what's the point of learning these theories?

High school students' ignorance of political subjects also affects their attitude towards political lessons. There are a large number of students who don't pay attention to political lessons in junior high school, because they don't have a solid political foundation, and because their extracurricular knowledge is narrow and their experience is limited. These factors make it difficult for them to understand and master political lessons when they enter senior high school. At the same time, a large number of students do not attach importance to their own moral cultivation, only realize the intellectual education function of political lessons and ignore the moral education function of political lessons, which leads to low interest in political lessons.

According to the analysis of the above reasons, I think that in order to stimulate students' interest in learning, efforts should be made in the following four aspects:
