How to teach emotional education after reading 《 "I'm really excited. The society in Taiwan Province Province has finally "matured" ── or, it has finally "disintegrated" to the day when emotional education is emphasized! If children have not learned to get along with themselves, others and the environment after a long period of education, then there must be something wrong with our education.
This book attempts to talk about emotional education from two levels: school and family. At the school level, this paper introduces the connotations and effects of various SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) related courses at home and abroad, which is worth learning from. However, I would like to point out that although Taiwan Province Province has formally incorporated emotional education into the curriculum and put the teaching of social emotional courses into comprehensive, scouting and counseling activities, many volunteer teams have entered the school to lead the activities. However, even though tutors or trained volunteers may be more knowledgeable in leading SEL courses, emotional education is not entirely intellectual, what is more important is the quality of emotional interaction between students and important people! How to comprehensively strengthen the social emotional intelligence of tutors and classroom teachers in the future, rather than taking students as the center, is a level that needs to be rethought and strengthened.
On the family side, too many studies have confirmed the influence of parents on children's social emotional intelligence and personality shaping. The problem is that most parents in Taiwan Province Province did not receive emotional education when they were growing up, so many parents have problems in dealing with their social emotions, let alone preaching to their children! In this regard, this book puts forward a very practical method: let parents accompany their children to read emotional picture books and play emotional board games. These materials and methods are designed for parents. As long as you follow them, in the process of reading, discussing and playing games, not only children's EQ is taught, but parents can also take the opportunity to re-educate themselves!
Finally, I want to remind you that emotional education is not a subject or knowledge that can be separated from the whole person and taught separately, nor can it be completed by playing games and telling stories, but is a concern for the whole person's mind. Children's growth is embedded in the interactive environment of family, school and society. I hope this book can arouse more people in Taiwan Province Province to realize the importance of emotional education, and more people are willing to study again to make themselves healthier physically and mentally. Then, children who grow up in it can be happier and more hopeful!
